Synopsis
Shortly after graduating college in 2001, Marnie Oursler purchased a broken-down house in Bethany Beach, Del., restored it herself and sold it for a six-figure profit. That convinced her to continue her family's extensive pedigree in the real estate business -- her father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather were all builders -- and now Oursler constructs and renovates coastal properties in and around Betheny Beach. DIY Network follows her during various restorations as she creates beautifully classic homes that can withstand hot summers, high tides and hurricane seasons for years to come. From making the most of ocean views to customizing sand-friendly spaces, Marnie takes beach houses that have been around forever and gives them modern amenities while preserving their charm.Cast
